What will my new home, renovation or extension cost?

While every project build is tailored to meet specific budgets and requirements, our Fixed Price Contract means our clients know upfront what the costs will be for every stage of the project. Detailed project specifications and meticulous upfront planning, coupled with our continuous on-site presence of our highly skilled project managersmeans your construction will be delivered with minimal fuss, on time and on budget.
Are you qualified and what qualifications do you have?
All our highly skilled tradespeople are fully qualified and hold all the relevant qualifications.Iconic Building Solutions is an HIA Member. Both partners hold C Class building licences (Certificate IV in Building and Construction).
Do we get to select building materials, appliances, and the like?
Of course! This is your home and you have final say in selection of everything. We will be here to guide you in your options, offering the highest quality choices and best value for money. With our extensive knowledge in all aspects of building, both inside and outside the property, we can advise on everything from decking to tap fixtures.
If you need some decorative ideas and inspiration, we also have designers to assist you with putting your individual stamp on your new living space.
Should we expect extra costs over and above the construction price?
Our rigorous planning and attention to detail prior to commencing a building project is designed to minimise any unexpected scenarios that may arise along the way. However, occasionally things may come up, usually due to unforeseen circumstances. If there is any variation from the original plan, it must be signed off by you and therefore under your control.
If you change your mind about a particular aspect of the build along the way, this may have a financial impact on the final costs. We’ll work with you to weigh up the pros and cons of the proposed change with its associated costs.
Do I have to hire an Architect?
Iconic Builidng Solutions can take care of every aspect of the design and building process including engineering drawings and appropriate approvals. Depending on the size and type of construction, we usually we recommend engaging an Architect or Designer to ensure everything is considered upfront, offer creative solutions to help translate your vision into a design you will be thrilled with and make sure you maximise your financial investment.
